Aside from the most extreme shaky cam I've ever seen in a film (which I assume was used to depict the violence in the book without having to show it in detail) I found this to be a very good adaption. Jennifer Lawrence was an excellent Katniss and Stanley Tucci stole the show.

The review on my site is fair (2.5/5) although I'd go half a star more. Sure the acting by non-actor-SEALs was poor, but I thought the action was pretty riveting and felt the most "real" from any action scenes I've seen in a very long time.

Christopher Nolan knocks it out of the park once again with the mind-bending, dream within a dream within a dream (etc.) "Inception." Unique concept, brilliant execution, and enough levels to engage viewers without alienating them.

David Fincher gave us a unique and iconic film and the performances of Bradd Pitt and Ed Norton seal it. A surreal movie with a philosophy that is both disturbing and somewhat appealing. Sticks with you after you've seen it.
