Psychedelic gorror (gory horror, coined here). This artsy horror film starring the Cage has some pretty fantastic use of color and sound. I can appreciate what I can’t unsee.

Greener Grass 2019
I thought this would be like a surreal Jon Waters film but now I believe it is an accurate portrayal of life in an HOA.
I also wish I could read the script for how they wrote the facial expressions. Some were relatable but indescribable, and I didn’t know that was possible.

Movie #7: 50th Anniversary Movie (1974)
Premiering the year before RHPS makes me question if there would be a Frank-N-Furter or Rocky without Beef? Sure, they are not the same. But if you cook Beef long enough you get Meatloaf, that's all I'm saying.
Also kind of mad I haven't seen this rock opera featuring a deranged one-eyed Batman sooner. Now I'm learning about Paul Williams (loved him in Smokey and the Bandit) and will be listening to the album later while queueing up a series of Brian De Palma films from the library.
