Bird 2024
It surprised me, which I always like in a film. I’m left a little confused still.
I like the naivety of the protagonist and some of the cinematography that mirrored that.
I thought the story felt very real, if a little unfulfilling as a film plot. Didn’t love the hackneyed flashbacks.
It didn’t quite hit fully for me but did feel there were strong moments that felt like they captured the bizarre experience of grappling with the world as a teen and especially the chaos of an insecure home life.Translated from by

The Post 2017
Interesting story from history, to an extent, of internal conflicts within a paper navigating journalism during a serious challenge to American constitutional integrity.
However, film itself feels too self-congratulatory and even corny in moments, with the moral line of thé story agreed upon didactically beforehand and fed to us with little subtlety in the course of the film.
