I went in with low expectations and this still managed to disappoint.
The ScreenX format actively made my viewing experience worse. Not sure what Ridley was going for here. If the goal was to pay homage to the Abel Gance version’s Polyvision format, you utterly failed. If you’re not seated in the center of the theater, fucking forget it. Maybe if I saw this a decade ago, I’d be impressed by the technical achievement, but having seen Oppy in IMAX…
