  I love love love this take on alien invasions, I think the reason so many alien invasion movies focus on killing the aliens is because I think it calms the part of us that is so terrified of our powerlessness in regards to anything in the unknown. But this movie instead of running from the fear I think teaches people to sit with the fear and that it isn’t language that separates us from the others but our own cruelty and inability to make decisions outside of fear.
