This was a really fun film that went in a lot of unexpected directions. Similar to Possession, not everything worked for me but I appreciate the swing of this film and that it became far more than your typical supernatural horror film.
The plot and story was a little convoluted at times; I think a tighter script and edit definitely could have helped.
The four leads were great and I loved the exploration of Japan's occupation and colonization of Korea through this lens, especially also loving Pachinko and being eager to learn more about all of this.
