me after being sat in my seat for 180 minutes already: BUSH IS BACK!!!!
But seriously what a captivating film. It’s beautiful, the acting is brilliant as is the script and score. It is Epic. I would think it a truly great film if not for the BIG glaring hole that is the whitewashing of Israel. I want to give it a generous reading, one where the film is sympathising with a persecuted people seeking refuge and safety. A film criticising the power of the American Monster. Unfortunately for the film Israel cannot be addressed without the acknowledgment of Palestine and its people.
