  Such a beautiful movie; both in story and visuals. 

  The choice to not voice the animals and allow the setting and interactions do all of the work was great. It immerses you into the story much more than if you anthropomorphised the characters. 

  There was so much unexpected humour in the behaviour of the animals and their dynamics with the other animals. It was just a joy to watch. 

  That cat was stressing me out though, constantly making things more difficult for itself.

  Even more poignant and painful on second watch. It cannot be overstated the destruction the Catholic Church and the Magdalene Sisters left in their wake. The wounds run deep to this day. 

  Again, Cillian Murphy is the perfect person to tell this story. He marched with us during the Repeal movement. He remains vocal on this issue and our country’s legacy towards women. He is a force.
