Another hit from Bong! I was unfamiliar with your range, good sir. I am of course referring to both Bong Joon-ho and Robert Pattinson. With much more comedy, satire, and social commentary than I was anticipating, this was an incredibly engaging watch. Although act 3 felt like it had to happen and wasn’t a natural progression of the story.

Wolfs 2024
Of course a Brad Pitt and George Clooney movie will be entertaining simply off of their natural charisma. It worked fairly well except for there being a few lines pulled straight out of The Office that made me suspect AI wrote the script… doesn’t help that one of The Office actors is in this as well. Not art just a good movie.

Not Scar Jo, Morgan Freeman, superpowers, or clever editing can redeem this wack ending. I don’t even care that I’m spoiling it, she physically morphs into a computer. A computer. Okay not literally but like, comon she totally did! A cool thought experiment at best, probably why it doesn't even cross an hour and a half. This is the first time I’ve seen it all the way through properly. It was one of the many films I saw in random 30 minute stretches while taking breaks at work. Godzilla Minus One 2023
I thoroughly enjoyed this take on Gojira. No MUTOs, no shaky camera footage avoiding showing the audience the film’s namesake, and no senseless human story (the one we see is very meaningful). His atomic breath is BRUTAL and my jaw dropped more than once. Love this 1940s era it took place in. Feels like classic Godzilla before my time.
