Really disappointing. Pattinson is great, really great, and the 1st half-to-two-thirds is interesting, but the third act is a clunker. Predictable and hamfisted action that’s nothing you haven’t seen before.

Pretty incredible how culturally impactful this movie has been, for better or worse. Hugo Weaving steals the show w/ an all-time great villain performance. Great 90s soundtrack - RATM, Massive Attack, etc. I want to go to the Dragula rave. Bit of a 90s period piece, tbh.

First things first - the deep fake stuff is monstrous, and there are a few really boneheaded callbacks that made me groan.
That’s all regrettable, not least because there’s a really enjoyable movie under here. David Jonsson is great, and I appreciate the movie leaning into creator-created preoccupations of the recent Scott installments (the only reference I didn’t hate was to Prometheus). Also loved the early world building, and what I thought were nods to Event Horizon.
