This film is such an insult to anyone who pays money to see it. Incoherent mess of a film, that doesn’t know where it’s going or how it’s going to get there, let alone what it wants to do when it gets there. Like its protagonists it simply bumbles along making stuff up that odd neither enjoyable nor satisfying.

Half a star because Kevin Hart is actually half decent.

‘What if feelings had more feelings’! A superb follow up to the original sees Riley negotiating all of the new emotions that are part and parcel of becoming a teen. The story does a great job and as always with Pixar the animation is excellent. Recommended for anyone who didn’t hate the first film!

It’s not a good film, but there is enjoyment to be had in watching it. Although, if you’re the kind of person that likes to use the word woke as a pejorative then you will hate it, because it stars women of a non-white origin.

Horrible, awful, exploitative garbage. It clearly suffers due to the source material being terrible and I guess it’s a decent movie of that, but a decent movie of a bad story is ultimately a bad movie.

It treats obesity as a plot device and reduces it almost to a punchline. It may not have been Aronofsky’s intention but it’s what he has created. If he believes this is a movie of empathy then we have VERY different definitions of that word.
