Inside Out 2015
I can actually say that I had a cathartic connection with this movie, more than I can say for any other Pixar movie. I tried to hold tears back, relating to the nostalgic heartache experienced by the protagonist Riley in the big move that uprooted her simple life. Everybody longs for a time when things were simpler at one point or another in their lives. And although "Inside Out" may elicit a few chuckles from the younger ones, it connects…

Before I go any further, I have to admit, I'm a little biased on this one. That's what a childhood full of lightsabers and Lego Star Wars does to you.
So many memories came flooding back as I glued my eyes to the iconic opening credits with fervor. The movie started off with a throttling takeoff and never even landed, not even at the end. Two hours of non-stop, adrenaline-inducing, empathy-provoking galactic tales. I know there's a crap-ton of hype, but it's pretty well deserved. Don't deprive yourself of probably the best space opera that has been and ever will be.Chewie, we're home.
