Funniest part of this film was when the cops tried to shut down the food truck but it didn't work. Watching this with friends made it a lot more enjoyable. The poor kid probably has trauma from the divorce but seeing him cook with the dad was nice. I'm glad he eventually went to live with protag's ex-wife since she had such a massive Spanish villa house lmao.

The Thing 1982
Watched with a good group of friends and it was a good time. Some of the horror was too over-the-top to be scary if that makes sense. Decent amount of jumpscare and some of my other friends and I agreed this film is basically like a combo of Among Us and the video game Until Dawn.

Trainspotting 1996
This movie was really unique and experimental. It didn't shy away from the ugly side of addiction, so much to the point it became like a psychological horror film at times. The soundtrack and filmography was so cool and I'm definitely going to rewatch this film. I want a TV show of this, because 2 hours didn't feel like enough. The ending was great though. This film definitely made its way into my top 10 fav films of all time.

Whoa where do I even begin. This film reminded me why realistic fiction will always be my all-time fav genre of anything. Fuck fantasy, give me this grunge and grittiness all the real life that Wong Kar Wai captures in his films. WKW is king of portraying the beauty in the little, everyday things. His dialogue in this film was perfect, not too much, not too little, and…
