  Holy crap! What a great way to tell a tragic tale of fraud and unethical practices. I love Anthony Bourdain’s analogy. This movie is a must see.

  Escape from Alcatraz 1979

  Solid movie from 1978. Set up was good and the plot was a slow burn. By today’s standards, these guards treated these prisoners with a lot of respect. I doubt that one guard would have escorted one prisoner anywhere without back up. Pretty much no score throughout the first 2/3 of the movie, which felt strange. Climax was exciting. Clint Eastwood was great.
