  This McGuffin filled, lazily directed, boring embodiment of a movie was not for me. The script felt lousy and like I was watching filler for an anime for half of it.   The Happytime Murders 2018

  I went for a good laugh. And I got what I wanted. 

  The Happytime Murders isn’t perfect but it slightly captures that Who Framed Roger Rabbit feel, but with puppets. Only 2 movies have made me laugh so hard tears come to my eyes this year. This movie is one of them and I wasn’t let down. The dialogue lacks a little bit but it makes up for it with the humor. I’d honestly consider watching it again.
