It’s an interesting premise and I thought the set design was great but I was honestly bored a lot of it.
Pattinson showed how amazing of an actor he is with his range. He carried the film by far.
I was very interested in the whole religious cult aspect and would’ve loved to dive deeper into that and the whole “multiple” storyline. However, I thought Mark Ruffalos was absolutely unbearable and his accent was just terrible. The whole “sauces” thing with his wife was stupid.
If it wasn’t for Pattinson acting his ass off this would’ve been much lower for me. Wouldn’t revisit this one.
