  I’m sure there are very smart and pretentious people who would like this movie. Sadly I am not one of them. As far as I could tell it’s an over-symbolised melo-dramatic collage that is missing a story. Yes, call me basic, but I do like a tiny bit of coherent narrative in my films. Skip this and re-watch eternal sunshine instead - it does a much better job of conveying the idea humanity being defined by our past trama and what a world without that might feel.
