I expected more to be honest. Anora feels way too cartoonish and self-righteous to be taken seriously. We barely get to know Ani and her backstory, and we are expected to care about her and some random russian idiot and her insane romance. I really liked Mikey Madison's acting skills, but her talents are sort of wasted in sex scenes (I'm pretty sure many compliments are because of that, don't lie to yourselves), and being annoying.

I wasn’t particularly in love with the film, but it held my interest. As someone somewhat familiar with Burroughs' works, I had an idea of what to expect. Queer gave me vibes of Hunter S. Visually stunning and well-acted, though the story didn’t fully grip me. Still, a very competent effort by Guadagnino.

A very good remake, despite some minor flaws.

Watching this franchise always makes me question who’s more inhumane: the zombies or the people.

It’s thought-provoking, gorier, and more violent than the original, though somehow it feels just a bit less bleak. Highly recommended for the great casting and practical effects.

I read the Stephen King short story before the movie, and it really expanded the plot as a whole.
Simple premise, but it kept me invested. Grief and loss with the boogeyman at the center was nice. Nothing groundbreaking, but I have a soft spot for single dads, and the lead actress was very good 👹
