  I absolutely loved this film. Love and friendship in the backdrop of a city undergoing enormous change. The wider changes play out in the characters everyday lives in the real, beautiful way that these things do - going to her union event, laughing throwing the stones. Truly a movie about noticing beauty in darkness (my interpretation of the title), but this is done in so many ways - the lingering camera, the beautiful lighting, the city nightlife, the loneliness and choices of the characters.
