  The Comedy 2012

  Somehow this film is both the worst and best thing. I almost couldn’t make it through, and I thoroughly believe that’s the point. This film urges you to stop watching it. It’s anti-comedy for sure, but it’s also anti-audience. It’s got one note, and it plays it really well—but my god, that one note grew very tired. But, isn’t that the thesis of this film?

  I wanted this to be good so badly because I love this Ke Huy Quan renaissance we are getting. He genuinely pulls off some fun and impressive fight sequences, which were, for me, worth the watch.
