Minari 2020
Minari is a quiet film that speaks so loud. When the film ended, I had a moment of silence to myself before crying for a good 10 minutes. It's a deeply personal film to me, seeing slivers of my family in the characters, and then also seeing myself in them. The picture they paint of the elusive American dream is the realest I've ever seen. The strength and perseverance of the family and the love they have for one another is inspiring.
