    I’ll tell you this, that KL 4K transfer is damn fine! 
    It’s really too bad the script is so hammy though. I remember renting this from Blockbuster sometime in ‘04 and liking it a fair bit as a young teen, but rewatching it now I don’t feel so sure. It has some compelling action and great effects, but it comes off a bit too preachy and ham-fisted; but hey if you’re into this kinda mid 2000’s action bread-and-butter, you’ll probably have fun. I wasn’t ever bored myself.

    Yorgos Lanthimos is one the most unique directors working today. The Lobster is case in point: oddly dead-pan yet filled to the brim with humanity.
