Dancer in the Dark 2000
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
3/5 - Kind of like an anti-musical. Some of the songs were decent, some not so much, but I don’t think their inclusion is to keep you hooked on an ear worm, but more a statement about jails in general, either that the world we live in is as colourful as a musical and to engage with every day rhythms; or whether it is contrasting musical tropes against harsh, real world sounds.
