that's how I felt about this novel. Knightley is true Elizabeth! but, I wanted to see more Austin’s symbolism of british gardens.
this is not a blind film adaptation, there are lots of cinematic solutions. the opening scene is very inventive, and the prose has been skillfully reworked.
director of photography, you are beloved! this camera at the shameless ball, in the scene with swings and Charlotte… AND (!) I delighted with the invention of Mr. Darcy's hysterical hands.
