  **Setting
  I couldn't find the words to describe it myself but Art Deco/Urban Fantasy is a suitable description. Notably also used in the New Capenna set of Magic: the Gathering which game out in 2022. That setting was more explicitly influenced by prohibition-era aesthetics, but had its problems with being constrained in depicting a police force. Or something.

  On the other hand the depiction of law enforcement were described in Nimona, and in fact public order and defense are paramount…

  **Urban form
  Characters are constrained by the physical city around them, forcing them to take certain paths, even when they choose to cut through. Notably, the street in front of the apartment is often crossed directly (and unsafely) by the characters on their way to the apartment because it's on a very long block. Characters navigate the apartment too, in ways that are constrained by its walls, windows, and doors.
