  shoutout kabir & ayesha!!! at first i thought this was just a silly little film about a somewhat dysfunctional family going on a cruise and having fun. don’t get me wrong, this is still an ESPECIALLY silly little film but has also ended up being one of the better portrayals i’ve seen of south asian societal values - including the ‘importance’ of marriage - and the complex dynamics between different family gens.
