  bro… kya? i wanted to like this but it was 3.5 hours long and every story still felt incomplete and absurd and not a SINGLE woman in this movie had self respect - ALL THE MEN SUCKED except ashutosh and tehzeed this literally pissed me off 😭 soundtrack will still be playing at my shaadi though trust

  seeing an indian girl not go back to that stupid british boy who mistreated her is such a good change, call that shit colonial reparations!

  i'm giving this 5 stars for many reasons-
  1. the main obstacle wasn't racism or the main character coming to terms with her culture. also, there was no misrepresentation in this for the first time in a long time.
