This is embarrassingly bad. It makes me a little ashamed to be a fan of horror movies, or movies in general. I feel bad for Demi Moore that she’s getting praise for this. I feel bad for the director that she think she’s a good director. I feel bad for audiences who think this is a good example of a movie. I just feel sad for all of them.

The Vast of Night 2019
This is fun, charming, creepy and magical. The concept is simple and time-tried, the two leads have amazing chemistry, and the director trusts us to enjoy *human* moments. I would love to see more indie sci-fi like this instead of the Alex Garland model of beautiful people moping around in expensive houses.
