I didn’t hate this which I think is high praise for Paul WS Anderson. I went in with the lowest possible expectations beyond being a true believer in the power of Dave Bautista. This really makes you appreciate George Miller & every single Mad Max film so much, as this felt like what if we did Fury Road and a Stephen King gunslinger story in one but also made it look like a video game?! The story was both very easy to follow and somehow also incoherent at the same time - impressive!
