  I’ve not seen Open Your Eyes, but I think in better hands this could’ve been done much better. Crowe kind of over does it with a lot of his dialogue and tone. Some really cool moments and a great soundtrack, weighed down by really bad dialogue.

  Much like Forrest Gump, Mr. Holland’s Opus is a boomer’s film about triumph. The lead character teaches a black man to dance, a beautiful singer to have confidence, and shows his deaf son the appreciation of self worth. 

  The 90’s has some fucked up and self important bull shit films for sure.
