    Avengers: Endgame Review:

The conclusion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Infinity Saga has arrived, and it is nothing short of a satisfying ending. After the tragic and shocking events of Avengers: Infinity War, the remaining Avengers plan to avenge their fallen teammates and defeat Thanos. To avoid spoilers, this review will be brief.

The cast performances are absolutely amazing. Robert Downey Jr. gives his best performance yet as Tony Stark/Iron Man. After losing Peter Parker, Stark's goal is very personal.…

    'The Karate Kid' Review:

With the release of the 'Cobra Kai' series trailer, I figured this was as good a time as any to release my review for the film that started it all. 'The Karate Kid' is my favorite film of all time. This is mainly because there is something important and entertaining in each scene. There are so many fun facts about this film that I couldn't even share them all. When this film was released in the…

    Bloodshot

    ★★½

This brings me back to the early days of the pandemic when this was one of the last movies to release in theaters before the world shut down. Bloodshot has a very interesting concept that isn't executed well. Vin Diesel's performance unsurprisingly falls flat, the screenplay is generic and dated, and overall, it's just boring. The action is fine, and up until the third act the visual effects are actually pretty good until they start to look like a video game cutscene. I don't expect the previously announced sequel to ever see the light of day, though.

Very solid rom com featuring great performances from Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. The level of character development is impressive, the pacing flies by, and the likable characters are actually compelling.

    Mank

    ★★

I know Mank is being acclaimed by critics and most audiences alike, but I found this to be rather boring, at least for the first two acts. I can really only praise Gary Oldman's performance and the cinematography, costumes, and other production values. People who consider themselves diehard fans of Citizen Kane should enjoy this film, but the pacing issues can't be ignored. Is this film capable of finding success come award season? It's quite possible, but there were many other films released this year that are worthy of higher praise.

  • Snow White

    Snow White

    ★★★

I get that it was easy for people to hate on Snow White before even seeing it, but it isn't terrible. Really, I think the writing was the biggest flaw. There are certain elements that were modernized for today's climate, but some of the dialogue just didn't work. I enjoyed Rachel Zegler as the titular character, and in my opinion, Gal Gadot didn't suck despite her not being a great actress to begin with. I really liked the costume design,…
