  Bong Joon Ho, Robert Pattinson, filmed for IMAX. Maybe my expectations were too high? The beginning was pretty cool to introduce the premise of everything but it started getting really weird with the whole Mark Ruffalo Trump thing. I completely understand that it’s an anti-capitalist movie, and I enjoyed that theme of the movie, but it just got a little too much for me at some points. I had a set “hype level” for this, and it pains me to say that it did not live up to the hype.

  Really enjoyed this movie. Great watch. Although it’s a little formulaic and cliche for the antagonist to be some childhood friend, it works because of the great performances and writing.

  * Also as a side note I think every sports movie is kind of formulaic and predictable so it’s not that much of an issue.
