  Let’s just say that I enjoyed the film better than I expected. It’s a silly romp with tons of action set pieces and simple characters. The message, that you need to find the innocence within you, is also good. It’s almost Biblical - where you would have the faith of a child.

  I liked the movie, but it had a lot more potential. (Very minor spoilers; and very ranty)

  Starting with the pros is the animation. The Mushroom Kingdom looks amazing - especially with its vibrant colors. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Bowser also look great too. They got redesigned from the games, but it works for this film.
