  A monster of its own creation; a creature of dead flesh torn from the corpses of beautiful bodies stitched together by barbed wire, reanimated by light and the eyes that receive it. It assumes the form of the very filth from which it grows, and it is hideously beautiful.

  Megalopolis is the last frustrated shout into the void by a dying man. It is the great tragedy of human consciousness manifest: there can be no catharsis, only a thrashing unto death. So very clear, and yet still…still…so very confused. You have failed in the most fantastic way, Mr. Coppola.
