revisiting this after 20+ years, it was good as a kid and is even better now! A scathing (?) take on the military-industiral complex and capitalism wrapped in a kids movie, with some dodgy CGI that weirdly holds up, this is a film worth revisiting if you saw it once as a child

Longlegs 2024
I need to revisit this to fully appreciate but a fantastic film. The cinematography is gorgeous, the acting is impeccable and the vibes are so, so off. Really well crafted, empty space is used so well and a constant unease weaves itself through every scene. I'm an absolute sucker for these kind of tense horrors that don't give you time to collect yourself so a big fan of this.
Will say the final 3rd lets it down a little, but otherwise it's one of my favourites of last year.
