Farewell My Concubine 1993
I don't even know where to begin ......... Leslie Cheung you are in my heart forever and ever .. and everyone else was phenomenal in this film (gong li esp also) but Cheung's Dieyi/douzi/concubine Yu is going to stick with me probably for the rest of my life... so tragic, so heartbreaking, and such a perfect, weepy ending.. I could not stop crying during the replacement scene. And I can't rlly put my finger on exactly why.. Dieyi as Concubine…

Soundtrack on phenomenal, zendaya showstopper, mike faist is handsome as fuq actually all three of them are very attractive and this movie was soooooooooo good literally need to go see it again, will not be able to get the score out of my head for a while. If this one doesn't at least win original score or sound design/mixing we will be kxxxxlling ourselves.... the shot comp too and the photography/editing are insane too.... I need to see this movie again 😭😭😭😭 gonna be thinking ab their relationship(s) for a long ass time I fear
