I went into this film completely blind after a podcast recommendation and the core tragedy of the film hit me like a ton of bricks. The experience got all the more heart-wrenching learning how much of this story was about Fujimoto processing the Kyoani arson attack. We all have many "what if" questions that run through when processing grief and the way it's explored is incredibly devastating yet the way it wraps around to the beauty of creativity, how art…

For the longest time, I thought I was “above” Interstellar. A lot of people would dub it as their favorite Nolan film or even their favorite film and for a while I just never felt that connected to it.

This is really just a jumbled rambling of thoughts, I’m just truly mind blown right now.

Saw it in IMAX for a second time, really incredible experience!

After reading the book and getting myself immersed into the lore, it’s truly so remarkable what Denis Villeneuve was able to achieve with this. You can really feel a deep admiration and reverence for Frank Herbert’s writing. Plus the visuals and sound design omg. Hearing the voice, the Gom Jabber test, and the Sardaukar in IMAX shaking the entire theater was absolutely wild. I’m really hung up on Timothee’s…
