Good watch - 0.5 bump since it’s based off of a true story. Military movies always leave me feeling a little patriotic for someone who’s never lived in india.

rewatched 1.5 years later. this film hits where it hurts. there's a certain sense of dread I felt but I think this time around I focused on Arthur much more.
my first watch dwelled on following the childhood sweetheart but second was rooted in the differences that Arthur and Nora have. the visuals, the coloring, how it was raining the entire time in nyc but it was sunny the day they met.
