FIFA reliably on the wrong side of history.

This documentary about the 1971 Women's World Cup is an impressive and in the end hopeful movie. Even though the FIFA still hasn't aknowledged the tournament as an official World Cup. Plenty of impressive woman are in this, it's emotional and it's a testiment for the endurance woman have shown in football. It's a shame that people have to learn about this event 50 years later but here we are and at…

Actually are rare case in which I would love to see a remake with the same budget which would adjusted to inflation be around 120 million dollars in 2025 which is 40 million dollars more than “Alien: Romulus” cost. Just imagine a lovecraftian sci-fi horror with a budget like that! 😭

Germans are very harsh on their bigger productions most of the time. “Hagen” is an above average genre flick with some good scenes and some mixed CGI and really mixed acting. Its weakest point is that it doesn’t really work on an emotional level. You don’t really care for its protagonists which drags it down in the end. Still a nice new take on one of Germany’s best known stories and something worth watching if you like the genre.

I've been waiting for this movie to be released for months. So this had no chance to live up to my expectations. And yet it did – in the first half. After the intermission there where some decisions I was not a fan of. Yet Brody and especially Pearce were amazing throughout. Will be thinking about this for a while and for the moment I'm not disappointed but I didn't see a masterpiece that stands the test of time. Really interested to see how people conceive it now it's released to a broader public.
