  This movie definitely did not have the greatest acting or script, but it was still charming. 

  I appreciated how obviously it was written by a queer woman, despite its stereotypical feminine  girl with boyfriend falls in love with bad boy butch and one of them dies at the end plot.

  I personally would have rated this movie slightly lower if not for the stunning visuals and the way the movie carried itself as a whole.
  I think the metaphor of using a unicorn, something usually seen as bright or comforting in a childish way to represent the eventual assult Davina faces, is extremely interesting.
