The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2023
I think the ending is a bit rushed though understand they likely didn’t want to repeat anything we already knew occurred thanks to offhand mentions in the main trilogy. Otherwise this movie was incredible, the cast is great, the story is soul crushing and brutal but I think increasingly relevant unfortunately. A very heavy and dark movie with a downright evil protagonist but worth a watch. I’ve learned from this and Andor I need to trust more in prequels that seem particularly underwhelming on first glance
