Upon 2nd watch I'm struck by the immense rewatchability of this movie.
Haven't seen in quite a few years but great pacing, super sharp script and a fantastic central performance with strong supporting performances to boot.
The bold decisions to make the nature of the conflict and the characters so vague leaves the end of result of this movie so extremely bland.
Where something like this can strip away the stuff unnecessary to what the film is saying leaving a focused picture in its wake, like in Dunkirk, here there is nothing left once all that is stripped away.
While the look and style was rather well done very little is said about the nature of…
Felt weird that the lead actress had a big glow up once she was inhabited by a bloke.
This year is already worse than the entirety of 2020.
