  Nice to see how early on the aesthetic and vibe of everything was established between the first and second movie. There was nothing gradual about the shift to leather straps, strange new fashion customs (that weird fucking updo), and villains that suddenly have larger than life personas. I embrace the violently wondrous and weird world of mad max.

  I can’t even lie I was so into this movie that when Eda had to pause it and leave halfway through like 3 weeks ago I was kinda mad….
  Then when we returned to it I didn’t fall asleep during it even though I was so sleepy..
  Anyways Nick Cage is so interesting I forget every time but I do love to stare at him and his acting and take it in…

  This was the most airtight movie yet. Everyone brought their A-game, visuals were right, and it was all worth it when Vin diesel says “this is BRAZEEL!” with the accent and everything..
  Unfortunately I have to say I hated the rocks acting in this. It just didn’t hit for me. At one point when Dom and Hobbs are beefing I just kept staring at how comparatively shinier Dwayne Johnson’s head is to Diesels.

  I wasn’t convinced by this movie for the first 30 minutes at least. I was wondering if I was just looking for reasons to not like it, as I often do unconsciously with demonic entity-like movies and having been raised Christian. But something about this movie wasn’t something I could categorize as horror like as much as it seems almost like a psychological journey.
  Yeah Nicholas Hoults pissing himself fear was tangible and almost funny, and there was jumpscares here…
