The internal politics of the papacy are very intriguing as there are many factions competing for power.
This is in contrast to the professed values of the Catholic Church in serving God and believing in the lessons of Christ.

The light still shines, even though the star is gone
This applies to my childhood nostalgia for a time long gone. The star of my youth has passed but the light still remains.
Watched it again in theaters. This is my comfort movie. I always tear up at the Shadow scenes. Nothing and I mean nothing brings me to tears like when Live and Learn plays and Sonic and Shadow go super. Literally the best thing in the movie ever.
Holy shit mother of uncomfortable family get-togethers. Just the most diabolical, personal nightmare for those of my generation, whether you’re a Jew or not. I couldn’t stop my terrified laughter throughout the entire run.
There is just one heightened horror after another as Danielle fights to keep her sanity amidst an overbearing mother, a clueless, well-meaning father, and every invasively-questioning relative you all know and fear.
I had to check the time after 30 minutes because I believed Danielle’s hell…
