I feel like every guy is introduced to a "dad movie" franchise when they're a kid and it's almost like being sorted into a hogwarts house. Indiana Jones is mine and has been since I was 5.
It's 11:30 here and I have to leave at 2am to catch a plane to Greece. I can't sleep and there really isn't a better movie to watch before touching down in Athens.
Another bland biopic hard-carried by a phenomenal leading performance. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a movie so sauceless, which is unfortunate because the person and story deserve so much more.
Say what you want about 2024’s Elvis but everything from the script to the direction to the editing felt like it was trying to recapture the person’s essence, and more biopics need to realize that’s capturing the subject means more than just telling a Wikipedia page summary.
