Often I like the idea of watching a movie more than actually watching a movie.

Statham in the role he was born to play.

    Melissa McCarthy is a gem!

Watched the first half with it on in the background while doing stuff, ended up getting sucked in and watched the rest (from about end of podrace onwards) with the whole family on the couch. Was wholesome.

Haven’t seen it in easily over 15 years.

I liked it. More than its mythic reputation would’ve had me believe. Still feels like it lacks a ‘magic’, a je ne sais quoi, that I associate with other Star Wars.

Will probably be another 15+ before I ever feel like I need to watch it again though. If ever.

    Duel of Fates rules.

Loved it. And really respect it.

The atmosphere, aesthetic, pacing, tone, mood, design, vibe, etc etc, are all so synchronised and consistent throughout every moment. A fantastic debut feature film from many people I’m lucky to call friends.

A really funny, irreverent and at times profound film that is tapping into an extremely topical moment in culture.

I’m bias because I’m personally involved, but I’m so proud of everyone who willed this film into existence. 5 fucking stars.
