Started the new year right with my favorite Studio Ghibli film in anticipation for The Boy and the Heron.

With its beautiful story and animation, Princess Mononoke is a film with no answer. Each character is richly defined so it's not concerned with taking sides but reveals everyone's humanity, flawed as it might be

Crazy film. Truly one of a kind and also probably the last of its kind. When into this expecting to either hate or love it and boy did I hate it at first. Contemplated walking out on it but I'm glad I didn't because I've never seen anything like it.

It is not a good film. The script is a mess, the acting and dialogues are kinda iffy and everything makes no sense. Its story is way too ambitious but…
