It took me three days to get through this. Tom Hanks is rambling on about snow with an indistinguishable accent in a distracting and frankly disturbing fat suit. I hate when so much money is dumped into a production and it makes the movie so much worse than if they kept to the few nicely curated sets. I’m baffled that this got a standing ovation at Cannes. How and why? Can someone please help me understand?
