This is a movie filled with great actors who are unfortunately let down by the writing and directing. It is a fine movie, it is not offensively bad but there is not really anything special about it either. Longlegs 2024
Much like Osgood Perkins other movie, The Blackcoats Daughter, Longlegs fails to live up to its potential. It is an entertaining experience but its entertainment value is almost exclusively based on vibes. The mystery that ran throughout the movie was very promising, but as I got to the end, I sat wishing that it had not been answered, as the solution felt more like an afterthought rather than a satisfying and logical solution based on what we had learned.
Overall I would recommend it if you want a spooky thrillride with great vibes and a visual flair, but don't expect anything extraordinary og groundbreaking.

It's very hard to grade this. Humor is inherently incredibly subjective and I personally found none of the moments in this "standup" funny. It is however an incredibly well directed monologue that I thoroughly enjoyed experiencing. Unlike all other standup shows that i have ever seen, this truly feels like a piece of art and you feel a vision from beginning to end.
