  "If you don't look at her she can't hurt you"

  A beautiful and perfect homage to the original. Absolutely bone chilling and fraught in a straight shot, building into actual terror at its climax. Demonic Witches, Time Loops, Alternate Dimensions AND absolute suspense and horror from start to finish. This is a pinnacle of what Found Footage Horror is supposed to be, and what a perfect love letter to the original cultural tour de force.

  it's really telling when a movie about gen z is written by a 40 year old, adapted to the screen by a 30 year old and directed by a 50 year old. What could have been a slick generational satire became tongue in cheek self aggrandizing reproach for an entire generation they  clearly don't understand.  The attempt at satire is the only thing that bolstered an otherwise unimpressive plot, which was further saved by…
